Does it work on iPhone and Android?

The tap works on iPhone XS, XR, SE 2020 and every newer iPhone (phone awake, touch the top edge to the plate, then tap the banner) and on Android phones with NFC switched on (unlock the phone, hold the middle of its back flat on the plate, move it slowly if nothing happens; some phones open the page at once, some show a notification to tap). Every other phone, including iPhone 7, 8 and X, scans the printed QR code with its camera. Nobody needs an app.

How do I set it up? Do I need an app or a computer?

No app, no computer. Scan or tap the plate with your own phone, sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, pick your business from Google and save. It takes about two minutes. Every tap or scan after that opens your review page. To change the business later, use the setup link from your order message or message us on WhatsApp.

Is there a monthly fee or renewal?

No. You pay once. No subscription, no yearly charge, no app. The link on the plate is hosted by TapSticky and included in the price.

Where should I stick it, and will it damage the wall?

On a smooth, clean, dry surface: glass, laminate, tile, acrylic or a smooth painted wall. On metal the tape holds, but only the QR code works (see the next question). Wipe the spot with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, peel the liner and press the whole plate firmly with your palm for a few seconds. It holds at once and reaches full strength in about three days. It is a permanent tape, so pick the spot once; pulling it off a painted wall can lift the paint. It does not hold on whitewash, fresh paint, dusty or textured walls, bare brick or raw wood.

Will the tap work on a steel counter or a metal door?

No. Metal right behind the plate blocks the signal, though the QR code still works. Stick it on glass, laminate, acrylic or a painted wall next to the metal instead.

Is asking for reviews like this allowed by Google?

Yes. Google's own help page tells businesses to share a review link or QR code with customers; this plate is that link and QR code, printed to last. What is not allowed: discounts or gifts for reviews, asking only happy customers, or staff writing reviews. The plate simply opens your review page.

What if it arrives damaged or stops working?

Every plate has a 1-year replacement guarantee: if it arrives damaged or stops working within a year of delivery, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we replace it free. You can also ask for a refund within 100 days of delivery. See our refund policy.
